Ingredients
4-6 pound chuck roast
Put the roast in a large, lightly oiled roasting pan, .
4-6 garlic cloves, peeled
Insert garlic in the top of roast.
1 10 ounce can mushroom soup
Pour soup over roast.
Peeled potatos, carrots, onions
Surround the roast with as many cut up vegetables as required.
1 pkt dry onion soup mix
Sprinkle meat and vegetables with dry soup.
Seal the top of the the pan quite firmly with foil. Put into the oven at 300 F and forget it for 4 hours.
Preparation
Remove meat and vegetables to a large platter and cover with foil while you make gravy with the juice.
