Ingredients
2 cups flour - 1 cup oats
uncooked - 1/4 cup + 2 tbl sugar
divided - 1 tbl baking powder - 1/4 tsp salt - 1/2 cup butter
chilled & cut in pieces - 3/4 cup milk - 1 egg lightly beaten - 1 tsp vanilla - 1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans - 2 tsp cinnamon -
Preparation
in lg bowl combine flour, oats, 1/4 cup sugar, baking powder & salt - mix well - cut in butter until like crumbs - in sm bowl combine milk, egg & vanilla - blend well - add to dry ingred all at once stir until moistend - in sm bowl, combine 2 tbl sugar c pecans & cinnamon - mix well - sprinkle over dough - stir batter to swirl - drop by 1/4 cupfuls 2 " apart on cookie sheet bake 11 - 13 mins until golden brown - cool on wire rack
