Ingredients

1 c butter

1 1/2 c cane sugar

8 oz sour cream

2 eggs, beaten

1 t vanilla extract

2 c flour

1 t baking powder

1/4 t salt

1/2 t baking soda

1 c walnuts or pecans, chopped finely

2 t cane sugar

1 T cinnamon

Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and sour cream. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl and then add to creamed mixture; beat well. Make topping by combining chopped nuts, sugar and cinnamon. In bottom of well greased pan, spread 1/3 of topping mixture; alternate batter and topping ending with batter. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes
