Ingredients

10 slices thick bread

4 eggs

1 cup half & half

1 cup milk

1 TBSP. sugar

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Praline Topping:

1/4 pound unsalted butter

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 TBSP. light corn syrup

1/4 tsp. cinnamon

1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Arrange bread in 9 x 13 buttered baking dish, overlapping the slices in two rows. Combine eggs, half & half, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg and whisk until blended, but not to frothy. Pour over bread and LET SOAK OVERNIGHT.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Make praline topping by combining all of the ingredients. Spread the topping over the top of the soaked bread and cover with foil. Bake for 40 minutes, and then remove the foil and cook an additional 10 minutes until golden brown and bubbly
