Ingredients

1 egg white

1 tsp water

4 cups raw almonds

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk an egg-white and 1 tsp water until very foamy.
  3. Add 4 cups raw almonds and stir to coat.
  4. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp salt.
  5. Mix sugar into the almonds until evenly coated.
  6. Spread in a single layer on two parchment paper lined baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 min.
  8. Rotate pans halfway through.
