Ingredients:

1 (16 ounce) Fettuccini pasta (or Linguini), package

½ Cup butter

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 pound mushrooms, fresh, chopped

2 (6.5 ounce) clams with juice, can

½ Cup parsley, fresh, chopped

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon white pepper, ground

1 teaspoon sweet basil

½ teaspoon oregano

¼ Cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Preparation

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic and mushrooms until golden brown. Stir in clams with juice, parsley, salt, white pepper, sweet basil, and oregano. Cook over medium heat until hot. Toss with pasta until evenly coated. Serve garnished with Parmesan cheese.
