Ingredients
6-8 sweet potatoes, cubed
1 tbsp nutmeg
1 tbsp cloves
2 apples, cored and chopped
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 bag of mini-marshmallows
Preparation
Cook cubed sweet potatoes in lightly salted water. Drain, add butter, and mash well. Add nutmeg and cloves to taste and blend in applesauce until mixture achieves desired consistency.
Place in a buttered casserole dish and decorate with cooked chopped apple mixed with a bit of brown sugar. Cover with tiny marshmallows and place in a 325 degree oven until marshmallows melt.
