Ingredients
1 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup dark corn syrup
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9 in pie shell
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Toast pecans for 5 mins
In a sauce pan, melt the butter but don’t let brown. Mix in the sugar, corn syrup, salt, and vanilla until the sugar dissolves. Let cool. Stir in the eggs and mix well. Stir in the pecans. Pour into the pieshell and bake for 50 min or until firm when shaken.
