Ingredients

Sauce

1/2 cup minced onion

2 15-oz can tomato sauce

2 T horseradish

1 T dry mustard

1 T chili powder

1 T Worchestershire sauce

1 T molasses or brown sugar

1 t Tabasco (to taste)

Meatballs

1 lb hamburger

1 lb sausage

1 egg

1 cup cracker crumbs

Preparation

Preheat oven to 450º.

Mix hamburger, sausage, egg and crumbled crackers together. Form into small balls and place on baking sheet. Brown in oven for 20 to 30 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.

In large sauce pan, sauté minced onion in butter or oil until soft, do not brown. Stir in all sauce ingredients. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Serve sauce over meatballs or place a tooth pick in each meatball and sauce in a dipping bowl.
