5 Eggs
2 Cups Flour
¼ lb. Butter
2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Milk
2 ½ teasp. Baking Powder
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
FROSTING:
Ingredients:
½ Cup Milk
2 Egg Whites - Stiffly beaten ½ Cup Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla ½ Cup Crisco 1 pkg. shredded Coconut
1 Cup Sugar
Preparation
To make CAKE:
*Heat Milk and Butter together (butter should be melted)- let cool so not HOT when adding to egg mix. *Beat Eggs for 5 minutes. Add sugar, beat 5 minutes more. *Add Vanilla and DRY ingredients *Add Milk/butter to flour mixture; beat 1 minute. *Bake @ 350˚ for 45minutes
