Ingredients

500 g castor sugar

375 g butter

375 g chocolate

1 tsp vanilla extract

5 eggs

125 g dried sour cherries

1/4 cup Malibu (coconut rum)

1 pkt chocolate chips

pinch salt

200 g plain flour

Preparation

preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius line a brownie tray with baking paper or foil soak cherries and Malibu in a bowl melt butter and chocolate in a pan on the stove beat sugar, eggs and vanilla together stir in melted butter and chocolate stir in flour and then beat together until well combined stir in cherries, liquor and choc chips pour into pan bake for 30 minutes or until top is pale and cracking; mixture should not wobble when tray is shaken.
