Ingredients
7 OZ almond paste
7 oz flaked coconut
3 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
Heatover to 300. Grease and flour cookie sheet or use parchment paper. Cut almond paste into small pieces. Cook paste, sugar and egg whites in 2 qt saucepan over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes, stirring constantly, until path remains when spoon is drawn through. Remove from heat. Stir in coconut.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 1 inch apart onto cookie sheet. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly, remove to rack.
