Ingredients

4 6 to 8 oz. skinless cod fillets

Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper

3 T unsalted butter, room temperature

1 T capers, rinsed and drained, finely chopped

2 T parsely, finely chopped

Lemon wedges for serving

Preparation

Preheat broiler with rack 4 inches from heat. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Place cod on baking sheet; season both sides with salt and pepper. Boil until opaque throughout, about 6 to 8 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, stir together butter, capers and parsley; season with salt and pepper. Top cod with a dollop of caper butter and serve with lemon wedges.
