Ingredients

2 c. flour

1 c sugar

1 t baking powder

2 eggs

1 t soda

1 c sour cream

½ t salt

1 t vanilla

1/3 c butter

Topping:

1/3 c. brown sugar

1 t cinnamon

¼ c sugar

1 c chopped nuts

Preparation

Sift first four ingredients. Cream butter. Add sugar and eggs, one at a time. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix alternately with sour cream. Beat after each addition. Begin and end with flour.

In 9x9 pan, place half batter, half topping, repeat. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes.
