Ingredients
2 cups self - raising flour
¾ cup plain flour
1/3 cup hazelnut meal
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 ½ tbsp dry instant coffee
1 tbsp boiling water
2 tbsp Nutella
2 eggs, beaten lightly
1 ½ cups buttermilk
¾ cup vegetable oil
Hazelnut Frosting
1 cup icing sugar mixture
1 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp Nutella
40g butter, softened
1 tbsp milk
Preparation
- Preheat oven to moderately hot. Grease 12-hole muffin pan.
- Sift flours into large bowl; stir in hazelnut meal, sugar, combined coffee and water, and remaining ingredients. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Bake in moderately hot oven about 20 minutes. Spread cold muffins with hazelnut frosting.
- Hazelnut Frosting; Sift icing sugar and cocoa into small bowl; stir in remaining ingredients. Makes 12 Per Serving 22.5g fat; 1931kj
