Ingredients

1 lb vermicelli or rice noodles

2 T sesame seeds

1/2 c vegetable oil

2 T sesame oil

1 t chili oil

extra-firm tofu, ham, chicken, & / or shrimp

1/2 c walnut pieces

1 bunch scallions

cilantro to taste

3/4 c soy sauce

Preparation

  1. Cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Brown sesame seeds in oils.
  3. Chop tofu and / or meat, walnut pieces, scallions, and cilantro and throw them into the bottom of a big bowl.
  4. Add pasta, oils and sesame seeds, and soy sauce to bowl and stir well.
  5. Chill bowl in refrigerator for at least 3 hours before serving.
