Ingredients

Frozen collard greens (2 boxes) green giant preferred.

Two cans of chicken broth

Optional, 4 smoked pork bones or smoked beef or pork links

chopped garlic for seasoning 1 tbsp

1 chopped onion

Preparation

Combine all ingredients at the same time in a medium pot. Marinade all together for about 30 minutes until tender to taste.

Some people like to add smoked pork bones for flavor or small pieces of smoked hot links. Meats should be added at beginning of process to give greens additional flavor.

If you are a veg., you can cook collar greens just by adding the chicken broth and seasoned ingredients.
