Ingredients

2

cups all-purpose flour

1

tablespoon baking powder

1

tablespoon granulated sugar

1

tablespoon garlic powder

1/2

teaspoon kosher salt

1

stick (8 tablespoons), unsalted butter, melted

1

cup whole milk

8

oz shredded mild cheddar cheese

1/2

teaspoon dried parsley

1/4

teaspoon kosher salt

1/2

stick (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a large mixing bowl.

Add 1 stick melted butter, milk and cheddar cheese. Mix until just combined, being careful not to over mix.

Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.

Meanwhile, mix the remaining butter with the remaining salt and parsley.

When the biscuits come out of the oven, brush the parsley butter over the hot biscuits. Serve!
