Ingredients
5 slices bascon, chopped
1 large onion, diced
4 potatoes, diced
1 cup water
2 10-oz packages frozen corn
3 cups milk
1/4cup butter
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
pinch of sugar
Preparation
cook bacon for a few minutes. add onion and fry together until onion is transparent. add potatoes and fry together for 20 minutes. turn often. add water and cover for 20 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender. add corn and milk, salt and pepper and pinch of sugar. cook covered until potatoes are tender.
