Ingredients
3oz Vienna Beef Corned Beef ( flat or brisket )
1oz Swiss cheese, 2oz Sauerkraut,
1oz 1000 Island dressing
2 slices Rye or Pumpernickel Bread
1 pat Softened Butter
Preparation
Preheat un-greased frying pan over low heat. Lightly butter each slice of bread on both sides. Spread Thousand Island dressing on one side of each slice. Top one of the slices of bread with corned beef, sauerkraut and Swiss cheese and close with the second slice. Grill sandwich on one side for 1-2 minutes, being careful to adjust heat so as not to burn bread. Flip entire sandwich over and grill the other side for 1-2 minutes. Continue until bread is toasted and Swiss cheese is melted. Cut and serve hot.
