Ingredients

1 cup sugar

1 large egg

1/4 cup milk

1 cup margarine or butter, softened

2 tsp. vanilla.

1 box cornstarch

1 cup flour

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter/margarine. Beat in egg, milk, and vanilla.

Gradually add cornstarch and flour. (I usually do so in portions of a third)

When dough becomes too thick for the mixer, knead by hand for a few minutes.

Shape into pretzels. Portion size is about a teaspoon of dough, though it depends on what size cookie you want. They are very delicate, though, so smaller is better.

Bake 18-20 min. at 350 degrees F.
