Ingredients
1 box lowfat brownie mix
1 3/4 cups low fat cottage cheese
1 low fat sour cream
8 oz light cream cheese
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 fat-free egg substituts or egg whites
7 oz semi sweet chocolate (melted)
1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Preparation
- prepare brownies as directed and bake in a sprayed spring form pan. Time and temperature should be specified, approximately 15-20 mins
- blend together cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sour cream for 4 minutes.
- Sift sugar, flour, and cocoa powder then add to creamed mixture. Beat for 3 minutes. While blending add the chocolate. Once mixed, blend in egg substitute and vanilla and stop as soon as completely mixed- you do not want to overbeat once the eggs are added.
- Pour batter on top of brownies and bake for one hour at 325 degrees. Turn oven off and leave cheesecake in the oven to set. Check every so often, but it should take 1/2 -1 hour to set.
