Ingredients

2 cups flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup white sugar

1 cup shortening

2 eggs

2 cups rolled oats

1 tsp. vanilla

1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix the sugars and the shortening in a bowl. Add the 2 eggs and beat until light and fluffy. Add the flour, baking soda and powder and salt (all that have been pre-mixed). Add the rolled oats, vanilla and chocolate chips. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
