Ingredients

1 8 oz. pkg frozen Alaskan King Crab

thawed or 1 can 7 1/2 oz Alaskan King Crab. 5 or 6 strips bacon (fried ’til crisp). 1/2 C. chopped celery

1/4 C minced onion

1/4 lb. sliced mushrooms

1 clove garlic

minced; 2 T flour; 1/2 tsp salt; 1/4 tsp pepper; 1/2 C 2 percent milk; 1/2 C dry white wine; 1 C shredded swiss cheese; 1 & 1/2 C bow-tie pasta

cooked according to pkg directions(ala dente); 1/2 C freshly grated Parmesean Cheese.

Preparation

Drain & slice Crab. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet, crumble & drain on paper towel. Remove all but 2 T drippings from pan – Add celery, onion, mushrooms, & garlic & saute until tender. Blend in flour, salt & pepper. Slowly add milk & cook over low until thickened & smooth. Stir in wine. Add crab, bacon, & swiss cheese. Mix with prepared pasta & turn into a buttered 1 & 1/2 qt. casserole diah. Sprinkle with Parmesean cheese & dot with additional butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 min, or ’til heated through.
