Ingredients
2 cans Le Seur English peas
1/2 cup mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip)
4 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped
2 tablespoons flour
2 cans flaked white crabmeat, thoroughly drained
1/2 cup evaporated milk (not sweetened milk)
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup grated parmesan (dried, not fresh)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Put drained peas in 8-inch baking dish. Saute onion in butter until soft, then add flour to thicken. Gradually stir in the mayonnaise and milk until thickened. Gently stir in crabmeat. Pour over peas and top with parmesan. Bake for 25 minutes until bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
