1 1/4 cups water
2 tablespoons margarine, softened
2 tablespoons dry milk powder
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
3 cups bread flour
1/3 cup whole wheat flour
1/4 cup cracked wheat
1 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
Preparation
Combine yeast, warm water until it is foamy. Combine all dry ingredients in the kitchen aid mixer with bread hook. Add the yeast mixture and kneed. Let rise under a damp towel in a bowl until doubled. Turn out into a bread pan and let rise a second time. Bake at 350 for 25-30 min. until golden brown. Cool on rack.
