Ingredients

2 lbs frozen or fresh grated hash browns

16 oz sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 stick butter

1/2 cup chopped onion or onion powder

2 cups grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

Place potatoes in a greased 9x13 pan.

Season with salt and pepper

If fresh potatoes fry in skillet first

In a bowl add minced onions, sour cream, cream of chicken soup - mix together

Pour over potatoes

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and butter you have cut into cubes

Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
