Ingredients
celery, sliced from ribs
sharp cheddar, cut in 1/4 cubes
pecan halves toasted in butter
large green peas, canned or fresh-cooked, not petit pois
mayonnaise
Preparation
Cut thin slices of celery and combine in equal amounts by volume, 1 cup each, with peas, cheese, and pecans. All items should be at room temperature. Combine with a tablesppon or 2 of mayonnaise to taste along with a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
