package (12 oz) frozen cinnamon apples

1 1/2

cups frozen cranberries

1/2

teaspoon grated lemon peel

1

package (17.3 oz) frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed

1

egg, slightly beaten

4

oz white chocolate baking bars or squares, chopped

Preparation

Heat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray. Cook apples as directed on package. In large bowl, stir apples, cranberries and lemon peel; set aside.

On lightly floured work surface, roll 1 puff pastry sheet into 10-inch square. Cut into 4 squares. Repeat with remaining puff pastry sheet. Working with 1 pastry square at a time, lightly brush edges with water. Spoon about 1/4 cup filling on 1 diagonal side of square. Fold into triangle; press edges to seal. Repeat with remaining pastry and filling. Place turnovers on cookie sheet. Lightly brush tops with egg. Bake 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

In small microwavable bowl, microwave white chocolate uncovered on High 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds, until softened and chocolate can be stirred smooth. Drizzle over turnovers. Serve warm.
