Ingredients

Grapefruit wedge 

Margarita salt 

Ice 

2 ounces tequila or mezcal 

2 tablespoons Classic Cranberry Sauce 

2 ounces grapefruit soda, such as San Pellegrino Pompelmo 

Preparation

Run grapefruit wedge around the rim of a highball glass; dip rim in margarita salt. Fill glass with ice. Add tequila and cranberry sauce, then top with soda. Stir once, garnish with same grapefruit wedge, and serve immediately.
