Ingredients
4 oz choc. chips
5 tbl butter
3 oz cr cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbl flour
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
Preparation
melt choc & 3 tbls of butter - cool. blend remaining butter c cheese until softened - add 1/4 cup sugar, beat well - blend in 1 egg, 1 tbl flour & 1/2 tsp vanilla. set aside. beat 2 eggs until thick & light. add 3/4 cup sugar, beat until thick. add baking powder, salt & 1/2 cup flour. blend in choc mixt, nuts, 1 tsp vanilla & almond extract. spread 1/2 of choc bater in greased 8" or 9" square pan. add cheese mixt. spread evenly. top c tbls of choc. batter. zigzag through batter to marble. bake @ 350 for 35 - 40 mins or until top springs back. cool. cut.
