Ingredients
8-oz. cream cheese
1 stick butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
Milk to thin
Preparation
- Begin by beating together the butter and cream cheese.
- After the cream cheese and butter are combined, add the vanilla and mix it in.
- Sift the confectionary sugar before measuring it. You can do this by shaking it through a mesh sieve on to wax paper. Then, pour it into a measuring cup. It will be lighter and more aerated, which will make for a fluffier frosting. There is no need to be exact with the confectionary sugar. You can just add a little, and mix it in and then keep on tasting until the frosting is the sweetness and consistency that you like.
