Ingredients
1 lb. cream cheese, soft
2 sticks unsalted butter, soft
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 lb. confectioner’s sugar
Preparation
In large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter and vanilla together until completely smooth and butter is incorporated. You should not see any butter lumps. Add the confectioner’s sugar and beat on low speed until the sugar is just incorporated, then increase the speed to medium, then high and mix until light and fluffy. Icing should stand on it’s own.
