Ingredients
300 mL whipping cream
1 ½ teaspoon cornflour
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
½ bunch chives, finely chopped
¼ teaspoon chicken stock powder
¼ teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
1 kg prawns, shelled with tails left on
2 cloves garlic, sliced thinly
1 teaspoon cornflour
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation
Combine first seven ingredients and set aside, preferably the day before needed. Mix garlic and cornflour with ½ the oil. Heat the remaining oil, toss in the prawns and garlic cornflour mixture and cook until prawns are ¾ cooked. Add cream mixture and cook for 2 minutes or until thick. Serve with some good crusty bread.
