Ingredients
4C water
Salt to taste
1C yellow polenta
4T butter
1C cream cheese
Preparation
Heat water lightly seasoned with salt to a boil over high heat, about 5 mins. Quickly whisk in the polenta until fully incorporated
Lower heat to low and simmer, add the butter and allow the polenta to cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 mins.
Finish by stirring in the cream cheese and salt to taste.
