Ingredients

1 pear

1/2tsp minced ginger

1tsp honey

1/2tsp rum essence

2tbsp water

2tbsp rice crumbs

Preparation

Chop and simmer the pear in the ginger, honey, rum essence and water. Cook gently over low heat. Add the rice crumbs when the pear is half cooked. Continue to cook by gently stirring until the mixture becomes thick and sticky. Serve with copped walnuts crumbled over the top. Eat warm or cold.
