Ingredients
2 cloves of garlic
1 medium sized onion (sug. red)
1 28-35oz tin of whole roma or plum tomatoes-juice drained
1/2 L. 35% Whipping cream
1 bunch (approx. 3/4c.) fresh basil whole not chopped
1-2 tbsp. Chicken Soup base
some water if needed.
Preparation
- In a food processor combine garlic, onion and basil until very finely chopped.
- Add in tin of tomatoes, chicken soup base then whip cream.
- Continue food processor until well blended. Be sure not to overblend otherwise whip cream will begin to thicken.
- Add some water if the soup is too thick for your liking. 5.Heat the desired portion(s) over the stove or in the microwave.
Suggestion: If you only have a small food processor, do the first step as usual but for the second and third steps, split them up (add some tomatoes and some whip cream) then empty 1/2 the contents into a large bowl. Continue this process until all the ingredients are mixed together (in the big bowl).
