paper gift bags with handles
Scissors
Tacky white craft glue or low-temperature hot melt glue
Craft foam
Construction paper
Buttons
Pom poms
Pipe cleaners
Yarn and/or fabric items
Googly eyes
Glitter pens
Adhesive reflective tape (from hardware store)
Preparation
Cover work table with a vinyl or plastic tablecloth. Place supplies in center of table. With pencil, lightly draw desired design on each bag. Cut or paste shapes over design on bag. Encourage children to use some reflective tape on each bag to provide a safe “glow-in-the-dark” treat bag.
When bags are complete, set them aside for about 1 hour to allow glue to dry.
