Ingredients
1 C. milk
2 Tbsp. corn starch
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. crisco
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Mix milk and cornstarch in saucepan over medium heat until smooth and boils, stirring constantly.Place pan in ice water until cooled. Beat butter and crisco until creamy.Add sugar and vanilla, add cooled milk mixture. Refrigerate after filling cake. 30 min.
