Ingredients
1 C. Whipping cream
2 tbs. buttermilk
Preparation
Heat 1 cup of whipping cream in heavy small saucepan to lukewarm (85*F). Remove whipping cream from heat and mix in 2 tbs. of buttermilk. Cover and let stand in warm draft-free area until slightly thickened, 24-48 hours depending on temperature of room. Refrigerate creme Fraiche until ready to use.
