Ingredients

1/2 lb oleo

2 c. flour

1 c. chopped nuts

5 T. sugar

2 t. vanilla

1 T. water

1/8 t. salt

Preparation

Cream oleo & sugar. Add vanilla and water. Cream well.

Sift flour and salt five times. Add nuts and flour to creamed mixture. Mix well.

Shape pieces into crescents. Lightly grease pan and back at 325 degrees for 20 min. Cool slightly on rack.

Place on powdered sugar and sift powdered sugar on top of cookies.
