Ingredients
Single crust :
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup Crisco
Single crust paste:
1/4 cup flour (part of 1 1/2 cup)
3 Tablespoons water
Double crust:
2 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Crisco
Paste:
1/3 cup flour (from flour above)
1/4 cup water
Preparation
Measure flour, and take out flour to make paste. Set paste aside.
Add salt, then cut Crisco into remaining remaining mixture until crumbly. Add paste and mix until smooth ball forms. Roll immediately. Can be frozen in pie shells.
If prebaking: 425° for 10-12 minutes
