Ingredients

2 pounds beef for stew, cubed

1/2 cup flour

1.5 pounds gold potatoes, peeled and quartered

1/2 pound baby carrots

3/4 cup beef broth

1 tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp garlic salt (or to taste)

2 tsp seasoning salt (or to taste)

2 tsp black pepper (or to taste)

1 tsp salt (or to taste)

1 tsp paprika (or to taste)

1 tsp bay leaves

Preparation

Place cubed beef in the crock pot and cover with 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt. Stir until beef is thoroughly coated with flour. Add potatoes, carrots, beef broth, soy sauce, garlic salt, seasoning salt, black pepper, paprika, and bay leaves. Cook on low 10-12 hours, or on high 5-6 hours. Add additional flour to thicken stew if necessary.
